Having been born and lived my entire life in this amazing city of NY, in my awesome borough of Brooklyn, one would think it easy to take things for granted. It’s not. I am constantly impressed by big and small happenings all around and the fact that there is always something new to discover.
There seems to be a lot going on this fall in particular. Maybe there always is, but I’m just finding out about more and more things, thanks to friends, social media and more communication in general.
Here are some things happening TODAY that will be fabulous. I’ve been to everything in previous years, except for the BRIC block party, which is in it’s first year.
Check one or more things out if you can!
Chili pepper fiesta at Brooklyn Botanic Gardens

And to celebrate their new home- BRIC is hosting an all day block party. We love Celebrate Brooklyn and are happy the organization that puts it together is in a new and exciting space.
