mater mea feature

I am honored to have been featured in the latest issue of mater mea. The feature covers my path to motherhood, my stillbirth, subsequent pregnancy, and my attempts to balance all of that with my career.

I am grateful for the staff at mater mea for their willingness to publicly highlight stillbirth and for the deep compassion and respect that was shown towards me and my family during the interview and photo shoot.

I also appreciated having a forum to highlight progressive early childhood education! I had a lot more to say that wasn’t published- maybe I need to write a book 😉

Please click here to read my profile. I also encourage you to read the other 28 profiles on the website. They are incredibly inspiring and a good antidote to the so-called ‘mommy wars’ that are so commonly referenced in mainstream media.
